I was anticipating having the new website up and was going to announce it, however there are still a few quirks being worked out with it. The discussion forum is live, but I won't give out the link until everything is running smoothly. Which I hope will be within the next couple of days.
Until then, back to the ole blog.
WOD
"5 By 5"
Team Training
Each 2 person team will perform as many reps as they can in 5 minutes. The clock is continuous and each team will spend 5 minutes at each station. You must keep track of your own reps and the exercises consist of: push ups, sit ups, squats, wall ball and rowing. Teams perform the exercises in any order, but together.

Is that 5 min of each exercise?

Damn it John, you were not suppose to be on this late!!! Yes, 5 minutes at each exercise. The winning team will receive their very own pukie bucket. If the "crew" likes this workout then it might be a regular WOD. The options are endless with this one. I think I'll call it "5 by 5".

Loved it!

Jim - the pukie bucket hasn't been used before has it? I vote that we keep this wod!
Doc you will have a lot of fun with this one. I'm curious how many push ups you will get out.
Great job today Brian - us Smiths don't do too bad do we?
Fay - How are those legs doing today after last night - if you don't respond to this post, I'm guessing you are unable to hobble to your computer. Tell your dad to bring his towel for sit ups.
Lisa & Manny I have missed you guys!

Cindy - I don't have legs anymore! I believe while doing squats last night I experienced the worst kind of pain I've ever felt in my quads....except for that one time I tore it at softball. :) Hopefully my run today will loosen them up some.
I'll pass the word onto my dad, but I'm not coming tonight, so he might not be. Finals are quickly appraoching and I have a HUGE project due unless Carl just wants to give me his to turn in. I don't look at it as cheating, but helping a friend in need!!
The workout sounds like a lot of fun (yes, I said the WOD sounds like FUN)! I rather enjoy the team workouts. I can't wait to be "normal" again b/c I'm missing out on some great stuff.....like hang cleans.

Yes Lisa and Mani where are you guys?
Fay you did an awesome job last night way to go.

Schantel - Thanks! Great job to you too. I saw you working hard on the PP's and you did wonderful getting into the rhythm. Oh and tell Kelly my dad doesn't do everything - I think he should still give me an allowance! :)

I must have missed a good conversation :), I will pass it on. LOL

Fay-Sure sounds like your dad does it all! Hopefully while he's making your Christmas present he won't forget my order!

I would like to add that I also loved this WOD. My teammate (Mr. Sweazy) and I mixed it up a bit though. We replaced the push ups with burpees and the wall ball with Med. Ball Cleans. I hope to see 5 by 5 again soon! (It felt somewhat like the Thanksgiving Day WOD with the burpees and MB cleans)

Hi Everyone....
How we miss all of you and the workouts too! We would be there if we could, but our attention/time has to be put elsewhere for right now...beyond our control. Hope to be back soon and keep up the good work and thanks for thinking of us :)

Kelley, I'll be sure to remind him!!
Lisa & Manny - We'll all be thinking of you and we hope to see you back soon too!!

Ok so I was in the fetal position for about 20 minutes after this workout. WOW - I think I might have scared Jim as my body shook uncontrolably for an additional 20 minutes. A little chocolate milk sure makes a big difference!
